Our good works

Welcome to our good works page for the Rotary Club of Global Impact #224228. Here we emphasize and showcase opportunities across the Rotary Foundation, Kiva.org with our founding organization that chartered this club of the USPSC, USAID, Global Grants, District Grants, and our orphanages we are working with. We have a lot of international bandwidth to pick up new work from our paying members and that is where the rubber meets the road. Rotary may bring in hundreds of millions of dollars per year but it's primary mechanism for funding is dues paying members at 72% of financial strength. For this reason, please become a member and join in with us to help fund the $160+ million per year in grants that the foundation awards. The Rotary Foundation continues to be ranked as a four-star charity with a score of 100 on Charity Navigator with our IRS Form 990's. We are doing our part for over 100 years strongly - now you can join us to help change the world.

STRATEGY FOR WORLD DEPLOYMENT OF WAGING PEACE AND ACTING TO HELP THE EARTH; 2022 - 2032 PROGRAM - A 10-YEAR TEAMING SUCCESS STORY

  1. We continue to work on new Global Grants announced in 2024 of $203,000.00 for solar panels in Kyiv on top of the hospital there. We need donors.
  2. We are pledged on a Global Grant for the Battered Women's Shelter in Accra, Ghana starting in 2024. This grant is for $73,000.00 and needs more donors.
  3. We previously wrote a Disaster Grant our first month the club opened in 2022 with Governor Iannelli and President Mongiello for $25,000 into Ukraine. This was approved by The Rotary Foundation as an opening demonstration of our work. See our many videos under HIPSTER INFO above.
  4. Into 2025 we are working on a new Club Trading Banners Program that accepts pre-orders of small banners you can proudly display! We are now taking pre-orders for banners and several members have stated they will take four or five! The profits from this program go into our club and all we do.
  5. We work with the Riyo RAAC Foundation and Anab Ali in Somaliland with four orphanages spread across several countries.
  6. We work with Janita K. Burke, Esquire on an orphanage outside of Accra, Ghana in Africa. Janita is a legal paying member and the Africa Chairperson for RCOGI. Janita is a missionary and often works on concerts, singing about God and love and includes music in her missions across Ghana.
  7. We are exploring a new orphanage project in Liberia with President Freudenberg.
  8. We are discussing scholarships for our members to submit to the club and also endorse the almost 200 scholarships per year from Rotary that each of our club members is funding with their personal cash and donations. We are thankful to our club members for supporting these scholarships annually.
